How the Foil Detection Work

Introduction
Closure manufactures do an excellent job at ensuring each cap they manufacture and ship to you contains a foil inner liner. However, on occasion the liner may be missing - it may fall out in handling or in the hopper before capping. Regardless of what the cause may be, we want to ensure you have the ability to detect whether a foil is present just before it passes under an induction sealing system.

In addition to detecting foil presence we also provide a signal to trigger a rejection device, removing the offending container from your production line.
